About me
I am Dr Michael Chuka Okosa a physician, Consultant Ophthalmologist, trained and in ophthalmology, with decades of experience treating eye diseases in rural and under-funded hospitals and clinics in a developing country.
I was born in Ogidi — the same town as Chinua Achebe of Things Fall Apart fame — and trained in environments where scarcity was the norm. I also had decades long practice in Public Hospitals in a developing country.
I also had some training and experience in practice of ophthalmology in a western country where abundance is present. I can claim some modest authority in asserting that what I assert in these pages and blog are borne of deep knowledge

Vision Statement: So that those who may be denied quality eye care would be enabled to obtain it.
Mission Statement: If not by me, then Who? If not now, then When?
